The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, October 19, the weather in the North will be sunny, except for the Northeast region in the morning with scattered showers and thunderstorms.

From Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, and very heavy rain in some places.

The South and other regions will have showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night, with heavy rain in some places. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Regarding Typhoon Fengshen, it is forecasted that this morning, the storm will make landfall in the Luzon area. In the evening, the storm will pass through Luzon and enter the East Sea, becoming typhoon number 12.

It is forecasted that after moving into the East Sea, the storm will mainly move in a west-northwest direction with a tendency to strengthen.

Due to the storm's influence, from October 19, the sea area east of the North East Sea will have winds gradually increasing to level 6-7, near the storm's center will have strong winds of level 8-9, gusting to level 11, waves 2.5-5m high, very rough seas.

Regarding cold air developments, this morning cold air will affect the Northeast region.
