Mr. Duong Van Thai
On April 26, 2024, pursuant to the provisions of law, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly issued Resolution No. 1046/NQ-UBTVQH15 agreeing to the proposal of the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy to prosecute, temporarily detain, and search the residence and workplace of Mr. Duong Van Thai, a deputy of the 15th National Assembly, in accordance with the provisions of law; at the same time, temporarily suspend the performance of duties and powers of a National Assembly deputy against Mr. Duong Van Thai, a deputy of the 15th National Assembly, from the date of the decision to prosecute the accused.
