Warmly welcoming the delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress of China to visit and work in Vietnam, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha stated that during the official visit to the People's Republic of China by the high-ranking delegation of Vietnam, the two sides signed a Cooperation Agreement with many new contents and diverse forms of cooperation, including the establishment of an inter-parliamentary cooperation mechanism, demonstrating a closer and more substantial level of cooperation between the two legislative bodies of the two countries. The two sides issued a Joint Statement on continuing to deepen and elevate the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, building a Community of Shared Futures between Vietnam and China of strategic significance; concretizing the contents of the Cooperation Agreement between the two National Assemblies, enhancing political trust between National Assembly deputies, deepening the relationship between the two legislative bodies and making it an important pillar in the overall relationship between the two Parties and two countries.

According to Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha, from 2023 to now, the Vietnam - China relationship has maintained a good development momentum and achieved many important results; high-level exchanges and contacts have taken place actively, especially the two sides' agreement to continue to deepen and elevate the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, building a Vietnam - China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance. The two sides have made progress in the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries. The Communist Party of China and the Communist Party of Vietnam share the same ideals and are steadfast on the path to socialism. The Party and State of Vietnam attach special importance to maintaining and developing friendly neighborly relations and comprehensive cooperation with the Party, State and people of China. This is a consistent, long-term policy, a strategic choice, and a top priority in Vietnam's foreign policy. Referring to the relationship between the two legislative bodies, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha said that the cooperative relationship between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National People's Congress of China has been continuously strengthened and developed in recent times. Leaders of the two sides have maintained exchanges and contacts in many forms, within the bilateral and multilateral framework through meetings, contacts and consultations on the sidelines of regional and international parliamentary forums such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA). Emphasizing the particularly important role of the legislative body in the cause of national construction and development, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha affirmed that Vietnam highly values the practical cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries, considering this an important part of the overall comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China. To promote the relationship between the two legislative bodies, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Vu Hai Ha hopes that in the coming time, the two Foreign Affairs Committees will advise the National Assembly/National People's Congress to continue to deepen the content, realize the common perception and strategic orientation and direction of the two General Secretaries in the Joint Document on 6 directions. In particular, in the task of building a "More solid social foundation", well perform the role of the National Assembly of the two countries in orienting the people as well as guiding the activities of local elected bodies on implementing the common perception of the leaders of the two countries on developing healthy and stable bilateral relations.
