Accordingly, over the past few days, due to prolonged heavy rain, National Highway 14D to Tay Giang border gate at Cha Noc intersection (Hung Son commune) has experienced serious landslides.

Hundreds of cubic meters of rock and soil spilled onto the road, causing traffic congestion. Large rocks rolled down from the slope, making the recovery process difficult.

Faced with that situation, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Hung Son commune directed the commune's militia and self-defense force to coordinate with local forces to urgently clear away rocks and soil. The militia force was mobilized to the maximum, divided into many working groups at the landslide sites.

Mr. Hoi Nhai said: “Although the weather is still complicated and the ground is slippery, the forces are still active and working continuously. Initially, the route has been partially cleared, helping people stabilize their travel, daily life and trade of goods.”
