Mr. Hoi Nhai, Commander of the Military Command of Hung Son Commune, said that heavy rains lasting for many days have caused serious landslides on the road leading to the Tay Giang - Ka Lum secondary border gate (section passing through Hung Son Commune), with hundreds of cubic meters of rock and soil spilling onto the road, causing traffic congestion.

Many large rocks rolled down from the slope and lay scattered on the main road, making it difficult to fix and posing a potential safety risk to people and vehicles passing by.

Faced with that situation, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Hung Son commune promptly directed and mobilized militia and self-defense forces to coordinate with local forces to urgently clear rocks and soil, clear the road, and ensure smooth traffic to the Tay Giang - Ka Lum sub-border gate area.

Nearly 20 militiamen were mobilized, divided into many teams to deal with landslides. Local authorities mobilized 1 excavator and 2 trucks to support leveling and transporting rocks and soil.
