Nationwide recall and destruction of shower gel batches that do not meet quality standards

The batch number of the recalled product is October 19, 2023, year of manufacture October 19, 2023, expiry date 3 years from the date of manufacture. The product has announcement number 23/22/CBMP-TV. The organization responsible for bringing this product to the market is My Nguyen Production - Trading Company Limited Branch located at Thanh Tri A Hamlet, Da Loc Commune, Chau Thanh District, Tra Vinh Province.

The reason for the recall was that the test sample did not meet the quality standards for microbial limits in cosmetics as prescribed.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the Department of Health of provinces and centrally-run cities to notify cosmetic businesses and users in the area to immediately stop selling and using the above batch of Bath Gel - MM Professional (35ml bottle) and return the product to the supplier.

The Department of Health of provinces and cities shall recall and destroy batches of violating products, and at the same time inspect and supervise units that notify and handle violators according to current regulations.

The Drug Administration also requested My Nguyen Production - Trading Company Limited to send a recall notice to distributors and users of the Bath Gel - MM Professional (35ml bottle) product batch.

The company is also responsible for receiving returned products from businesses and recalling and destroying all batches of products that do not meet regulations.

My Nguyen Production - Trading Company Limited sends a recall report for the Bath Gel - MM Professional (35ml bottle) product batch to the Department of Drug Administration before May 19, 2024.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requests the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the Tra Vinh Provincial Department of Health to inspect My Nguyen Production - Trading Company Limited and My Nguyen Production - Trading Company Limited's Branch in complying with the provisions of the law on cosmetics management in cosmetics production and trading activities, and at the same time monitor companies to recall and destroy Bath Gel - MM Professional (35ml bottle) batches that do not meet regulations, handle and punish violations according to current regulations and report the results to the Drug Administration of Vietnam before June 3, 2024.
