(PLVN) - On the afternoon of December 20, in Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh Province), the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh Province held a Conference to evaluate the results of implementing the Program of cooperation and linkage in tourism development of 6 provinces of Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum and Phu Yen in 2024.

The program of cooperation in tourism development of 6 provinces of Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum , Phu Yen for the period of 2022 - 2027 was signed by the leaders of the People's Committees of 6 provinces on April 24, 2022, with the goal of promoting cooperation in developing inter-regional tourism as an effective solution to promote local tourism, build inter-regional tourism products, contributing to maximizing tourism resources of localities in the linked region.

Implementing the Program of cooperation in tourism development of 6 provinces of Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum and Phu Yen in 2024, during the year, localities in the association group regularly exchange information, share experiences in state management of tourism; coordinate and actively support each other in promoting and promoting tourism at conferences, cultural, sports and tourism events organized by the host provinces.

At the same time, localities in the association group also promote tourism promotion at events and fairs such as: coordinating to build a common booth for 5 provinces of Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Quang Ngai with the theme "The Central Highlands in harmony with the ocean" at the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2024; coordinating to build a booth to promote tourism of 3 provinces of Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Phu Yen at the Phu Yen Culture - Tourism Week 2024...

The conference summarized and evaluated the results of cooperation achieved by 6 provinces in 2024. At the same time, delegates attending the conference exchanged, discussed and proposed orientations and solutions to promote tourism development in each locality, gradually building and developing regional tourism brands, creating widespread connections, creating new, quality and effective connection products.

In his closing speech, Mr. Tran Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province, on behalf of the 6-province linkage group, the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province - group leader in 2024, would like to acknowledge and accept the opinions of the delegates, adding to the report on the results of implementing the Program of cooperation and linkage in tourism development of 6 provinces of Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum and Phu Yen in 2024 to submit to the People's Committees of the provinces to direct the implementation of tourism development linkage activities between localities more and more effectively in the coming time.

At the conference, the Department of Tourism of Binh Dinh province, representing the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, awarded the flag of the joint group leader to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province to preside over the implementation of the tourism development cooperation program of 6 provinces of Binh Dinh, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Phu Yen in 2025.
