Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department dialogues and resolves problems for 800 businesses and taxpayers

Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department has just successfully organized a conference to introduce new tax policies and dialogue with about 800 businesses and taxpayers in the area to grasp difficulties and problems; thereby, providing timely solutions, supporting the business community to comply with legal policies, contributing to building a transparent and favorable investment and business environment.

The government is committed to accompanying and creating an open investment environment.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong informed about the province's positive socio -economic results in the first 9 months of 2025. Accordingly, trade and service activities developed well, with retail sales of goods and services increasing by 17.87% over the same period. Outstanding credit increased by 20.3%; total investment capital attracted reached more than 15.3 billion USD in converted capital. Notably, Bac Ninh is currently leading the country in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). The number of newly established enterprises also increased by 25%. Export turnover is estimated at 63.5 billion USD, up 36.51%, ranking Bac Ninh second in the country, just after Ho Chi Minh City.

With those impressive results, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the role and proactive spirit of coordination of the tax authority in removing difficulties, creating a favorable investment environment for businesses and people, contributing significantly to the province's budget collection results.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, Ngo Tan Phuong, emphasized that the People's Committee of the province will always accompany and listen to businesses; continue to promote solutions to improve the investment environment, ensuring openness, fairness, stability and transparency. On the part of the business community, the province hopes that businesses will continue to promote the spirit of innovation, creativity and flexibility to produce and do business effectively, contributing positively to the overall development of the locality.

Regarding Bac Ninh Provincial Tax, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the unit to quickly stabilize the organizational structure according to the new model, ensuring that tax management is carried out smoothly, without affecting taxpayers. At the same time, the tax sector needs to focus on drastically and effectively implementing tasks and solutions on state budget collection according to the direction of all levels, and build the state budget collection estimate for 2026 in accordance with the targets assigned by the Central Government as well as the socio-economic development goals of the province.

Directly answer policy questions and promptly support taxpayers

Within the framework of the conference, the representative of Bac Ninh Provincial Tax introduced to businesses and taxpayers some new points and important contents of newly issued tax policies. Specifically, the contents of the Law on Value Added Tax; Law on Corporate Income Tax; Decrees on tax extension and reduction such as Decree No. 82 (on extension of value added tax, corporate income, personal income, land rent); Decree No. 174 (on value added tax reduction) and Decree No. 230 (on 30% reduction of land rent in 2025).

At the dialogue session, the Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department thoroughly answered many practical questions and difficulties of enterprises. The contents of interest included preferential policies on corporate income tax, procedures for authorizing tax settlement, how to write invoices, deductions when settling taxes, and documents related to renting personal assets. Tax officers also clarified issues related to tax policies, customs procedures and the application of tax reduction policies.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Head of Bac Ninh Province Tax Nguyen Van Vinh said that through dialogue, the tax authority has promptly grasped the specific difficulties of enterprises. This is the basis for tax officials to propose solutions to help taxpayers grasp and comply with legal policies, thereby enhancing their reputation in the market.

​To ensure that information is widely disseminated, Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department will fully compile questions and answers from taxpayers to publicly post on the unit's Website, Facebook, and Zalo for taxpayers to study and implement.

In the coming time, Bac Ninh Provincial Tax Department will continue to promptly implement policies on tax and land rent extension, exemption and reduction; actively coordinate with departments, branches and People's Committees at all levels to improve the efficiency of tax collection management and focus on building an increasingly clean and strong team of tax officials.
