The Provincial Party Standing Committee received and worked with the Communist Magazine delegation.

On August 24, Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council received and worked with the Communist Magazine delegation led by Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Tuan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of the Communist Magazine, on a number of socio -economic development issues of the province over the past half term to implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.

Attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Lam Dong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

To concretize the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the resolutions of the Central Committee and the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress into practice, since the beginning of the term, the province has issued 22 thematic resolutions, 10 action programs, 6 projects, 48 directives, 223 plans... to lead and direct all aspects of work. After half a term of implementation, the province's socio-economic situation has been maintained stably and had positive changes; breakthroughs in renewable energy, tourism, and marine economy have been focused on and implemented effectively, contributing to the implementation of the policy of renewing the growth model, promoting economic restructuring; restructuring in each industry and field has achieved initial results. People's lives have been constantly improved, the annual poverty rate has decreased by 1.5-2%. The cultural, social, and environmental fields have made much progress. National defense and security have been consolidated and enhanced, political security, order and social safety have been maintained. The work of building the Party and the political system continues to be focused on; thereby, contributing to raising the province's position, consolidating and enhancing people's trust in the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels. Besides the achieved results, the province still faces many difficulties: Budget revenue is still low; development investment resources are limited; infrastructure systems have not met development requirements; labor quality is not high; climate change... negatively affects economic development and people's lives.

Speaking at the working session, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee informed the working delegation about the outstanding achievements in Party building, building the political system, grassroots democracy regulations, the role of the political system in building new rural areas, ethnic affairs, religion, national defense, security... and answered the concerns and questions of the delegation at the working session. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hoped that in the coming time, the Communist Magazine would pay attention to promoting information and propaganda work about Ninh Thuan province. On the basis of theoretical research and practical summarization, the two sides will promote coordination, share experiences and methods to spread the message about a Ninh Thuan that is striving to develop.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Tuan thanked the provincial leaders for welcoming and providing many important contents for the working delegation to research, learn, and compare theory and practice in the locality; at the same time, he affirmed that the Communist Magazine will actively coordinate with the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee to jointly carry out the assigned political tasks. He hereby requested the Provincial Party Committee to continue directing departments, branches, and localities to actively support the Editorial Board to direct and organize the exploitation of outstanding topics and themes of the locality, to promote the potentials and strengths in the publications of the Communist Magazine, contributing to introducing and promoting the development achievements as well as the image of the homeland and people of Ninh Thuan to domestic and international friends and tourists...
