Trung Son Hydropower Plant proactively responds and ensures safe operation during the 2025 storm season

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Faced with complicated weather developments, Trung Son Hydropower Company Limited (TSHPCo) has synchronously deployed many solutions for natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue (PCTT&TKCN) with the motto "4 on-site, 3 ready", ensuring construction safety, stabilizing production and protecting the lives of people in downstream areas.

Since the beginning of the year, Trung Son Hydropower Company has developed a plan for disaster prevention and control that closely follows extreme weather scenarios; comprehensively inspects and maintains the dam system, reservoirs, monitoring equipment, electromechanical systems and warnings.

The company has increased coordination with local authorities in downstream areas such as Trung Son and Trung Thanh to review and disseminate flood response plans and instruct people to be ready to evacuate.

The PCTT&TKCN Command Board and the shock teams of Trung Son Hydropower Company Limited have been strengthened, organized regular drills close to reality, improving the ability to handle situations. SCADA systems, rain gauges, flow measuring and communication equipment are maintained in operation 24/7; weather information is regularly updated from the Northern Hydrometeorological Station, ensuring timely warnings through many channels to proactively respond, operate safely, and provide stable power to the national grid.
