Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung suggested that the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association continue to promote its role as a common home, gathering the talent, enthusiasm and intelligence of artists.

On the morning of January 16, the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association held a mid-term member conference (2020 - 2025).

Since the beginning of the 2020 - 2025 term up to now, despite the difficult social context such as natural disasters, the COVID-19 pandemic... but with the attention of authorities at all levels, the work of the Association and the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts movement have had many changes, creating many valuable works of literature and art, meeting the needs of cultural and artistic enjoyment of all classes of people.

The Provincial Literature and Arts Association successfully organized the 7th Nguyen Du Literature and Arts Award (2015 - 2020). Notably, for the first time, the Award Council decided to award 2 awards for dedication to 2 late authors who are folk culture researchers: Thai Kim Dinh and Vo Hong Huy. The Association also coordinated with the Vietnam Kieu Studies Association to successfully organize 2 contests "Readers memorize Kieu" and "Writing a funeral oration for the great poet Nguyen Du".

In addition, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association has successfully organized many creative competitions such as: Essay and reportage contest "Ha Tinh on the way of development"; Summary and awarding of the 13th "Writing - Drawing Contest for Students", launching the 14th "Writing - Drawing Contest for Students" ; Ha Tinh Artistic News Photography Contest and Exhibition with the theme "Ha Tinh - 65 years of following Uncle Ho's teachings"...

The Association has also organized and coordinated for members to participate in many creative camps in and outside the province, bringing back many quality works.

Regarding the work of publishing, promoting and disseminating works, the Association held a ceremony to announce the Decision approving the "Hong Linh Magazine Project to 2025, vision to 2030", published the book "Ha Tinh on the development path" introducing the works that won the contest to celebrate the 190th anniversary of its founding (1831-2021), 30 years of re-establishing Ha Tinh province (1991-2021); published the publication "Thousand-mile forest" - a collection of works that won the contest Writing - Drawing for school age for the 11th, 12th and 13th times. Hong Linh Magazine (print version) increased the number of columns and pages from 80 to 110 pages. Upgraded the website to Hong Linh Electronic Magazine following the trend of multi-functional electronic newspapers.

Over the past 3 years, many members have won awards in international, central, regional and local competitions and exhibitions, and some members have published new works.

The Association has always paid attention to the work of supporting literary and artistic creation, and the work of recruiting and improving the quality of members has been emphasized. Up to now, the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association has 237 members (of which, 65 are members of the Central professional branches), operating in 9 majors: Prose, Poetry, Criticism, Folklore, Performing Arts, Music, Photography, Fine Arts and Architecture. The Association has also established 7 grassroots Literature and Arts Associations (1 combined branch).

Literary critic Ha Quang presented a paper: "Ha Tinh literature in the flow of the times".

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and analyzing difficulties and limitations in creative activities, improving the quality, promoting and popularizing works, building and developing members and management staff; proposing solutions to create new marks in the literary and artistic creation movement to meet the increasing needs of the public.

In the coming time, the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association will continue to closely follow the Resolution of the 10th Provincial Literature and Arts Association Congress, term 2020 - 2025 and the National Congress of Vietnam Literature and Arts Associations with the orientation of promoting social positivity, closely connecting with people's lives, contributing to building Vietnamese culture and Ha Tinh people.

Building the Association of Literature and Arts worthy of being a strong, united, unified professional socio-political organization, unified in terms of organization, unanimous in terms of political ideology, promoting the positive nature of society. Pay attention to innovating the content and methods of operation to constantly expand the group of artists to devote all their talents and responsibilities to the Association and the movement of literary and artistic creation.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung acknowledged and commended the results and contributions of the Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts and its members to the overall development of the province in recent times; at the same time, pointed out the limitations that need to be overcome such as: not proactively proposing breakthrough policies and mechanisms; valuable works with great influence and attracting little public attention; inadequate literary criticism activities...

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to continue to promote its role as a common home, gathering the talents, enthusiasm and intelligence of artists, creating a creative environment, encouraging and motivating members to have the opportunity to create; thereby focusing on propagating and disseminating the policies of the Party and the State. Pay attention to developing local branches, closely following the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee on building and developing Ha Tinh culture and people in the new period to proactively build development plans.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts also awarded a number of collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in recent times.
