Along with improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, each officer, doctor, worker and employee of Ky Anh Medical Center always focuses on building a smoke-free working environment; contributing to building a cultural and civilized office, protecting health, helping medical staff work more effectively, and spreading the movement of "saying no to tobacco smoke".

Ky Anh Medical Center currently has 118 officers, employees and workers, including 36 men. To effectively implement tobacco prevention and control, the unit established a steering committee, developed plans, issued many documents, disseminated internal regulations, supervised, directed and operated the implementation of the Law on Tobacco Harm Prevention and Control.

Ky Anh Medical Center installed cameras in places where many people gather to monitor and detect cases of smoking.

“Not using tobacco at work has become a mandatory regulation for the unit's staff, and is considered one of the criteria for quarterly and annual evaluation and ranking. Not only that, the staff of the center are also supervisors, regularly reminding patients and their relatives to comply with the regulation of not smoking in the center's premises" - Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh - Head of Organization - Administration Department (Ky Anh Medical Center) said.

In addition to promoting propaganda, Ky Anh Medical Center also installed warning signs, prohibiting smoking in crowded places, and posted pictures of the harmful effects of tobacco on the roads and corridors of departments and rooms. In addition, through the camera surveillance system, if cases of smoking are detected, they will be reminded.

Through meetings with patients and their families, Ky Anh Medical Center has integrated propaganda to "say no" to tobacco.
