Continue to implement Vietnam-Laos Defense cooperation contents

At the meeting, the two sides continued to affirm their goodwill and desire to further consolidate and tighten the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and two Armies of Vietnam and Laos. In the field of defense, the two sides agreed to implement the contents approved by the two Defense Ministries in the cooperation plan for 2024.

Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien asked the Lao side to continue supporting the cooperation contents of the Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group with the Lao Government and Ministry of National Defense agencies, including the issue of digital transformation.

General Chansamone Chanyalath praised the competent agencies of the two countries' Defense Ministries for proactively preparing and being ready to organize events to ensure activities take place according to plan.
