Looking for relatives for newborn baby girl abandoned in garden in Cua Tung

QTO - On the morning of September 25, information from the People's Committee of Cua Tung commune, Quang Tri province said that the locality is actively coordinating with relevant agencies to verify and carry out procedures to find relatives according to regulations and have the best care and protection plan for the newborn girl who was discovered abandoned in her garden by local people.

Previously, on September 24, while working in the garden, Ms. Hoang Thi Gai, residing in Huong Bac village, Cua Tung commune, discovered an abandoned newborn baby girl in her neighbor's garden, near her house, along with a bottle of milk. Immediately after, Ms. Gai took the baby home to temporarily care for her, reported to the local authorities and took the baby to Vinh Linh Regional Hospital for a health check.

According to hospital leaders, the girl's health is currently stable and she is being cared for by a volunteer at the hospital.
