According to the 8:00 p.m. news of Ninh Binh Hydrometeorological Station, it is forecasted that in the next 12-24 hours, the water level on Hoang Long River at Ben De and Gian Khau will continue to rise slowly.

At 8:00 p.m. on September 12, 2024, the water level on the Hoang Long River at Ben De was 4.93m (0.93m above alert level 3); at Gian Khau 4.52m (0.82m above alert level 3), 0.02m above the historical flood peak in 2017. The Day River in Ninh Binh was 4.21m (0.71m above alert level 3), 0.27m above the historical flood peak in 2017.

Forecast for the next 12-24 hours: Water level on Hoang Long River at Ben De and Gian Khau continues to rise slowly; at Ben De, it is likely to be at 5.00-5.20m (above alarm level 3: 1.00-1.20m); at Gian Khau, it will be at 4.50-4.70m (above alarm level 3: 0.80-1.00m). On Day River in Ninh Binh, it continues to change slowly, at 4.20-4.40m (above alarm level 3: 0.70-0.90m).
