Mobile World spends 200 billion VND to buy all bonds of a securities company

ACB Securities Company Limited (ACBS) has just announced the results of issuing 200 bonds coded ASS12501 with a total value of 200 billion VND.

As a result, all of these bonds were purchased by Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG).

The nominal interest rate of the bond is 6.5%/year, payable every 6 months. The issuance completion date is August 18, maturity date is 2 years.

ACBS is currently a securities company 100% owned by Asia Commercial Bank (ACB). ACBS plans to use all the capital raised from the bond issuance to pay off the loan at Eximbank District 1 branch (old), Ho Chi Minh City.

The stock market continued to experience a strong correction session. Under increased selling pressure from the banking and securities groups, the VN-Index closed the session on August 25 down nearly 32 points, falling back to 1,614 points.

In this session, foreign investors maintained a strong net selling trend with a total value of nearly 1,800 billion VND across the entire market - marking the 12th consecutive net withdrawal session. On HoSE alone, foreign investors net sold about 1,700 billion VND.

Of which, HPG was the stock with the strongest net selling with 586 billion VND; VPB was "dumped" 433 billion VND. Other stocks with strong selling included: STB (-244 billion VND), VHM (-230 billion VND) and FPT (-177 billion VND)...

Thus, since the beginning of the year, foreign investors have net sold nearly 53,400 billion VND on the Vietnamese stock market. The codes with the strongest withdrawals are FPT (-14,666 billion VND), VIC (-5,789 billion VND), VCB (-5,300 billion VND)...

Proposal to increase 100% of training and competition salary for coaches and athletes

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is drafting a decree regulating the regime and policies for sports team members participating in training and competitions to replace Decree 152/2018 of the Government.

Draft decree adjusts to increase training and competition salaries by 100% compared to the level prescribed in Decree 152/2018 for coaches and athletes.

Coaches who do not receive salaries from the state budget are paid according to actual training and competition days as follows:

- National team head coach: 1.1 million VND/person/day.

- National team coach: 750,000 VND/person/day.

- Head coach of national youth team: 750,000 VND/person/day.

- National youth team coach: 550,000 VND/person/day.

- Coach of national, provincial and municipal teams: 450,000 VND/person/day.

- Youth team coach of industry, province, city directly under the Central Government: 360,000 VND/person/day.

Coach of gifted teams of industries, provinces and centrally run cities: 360,000 VND/person/day.

Athletes who do not receive salaries from the state budget are paid according to actual training and competition days as follows:

- National team athletes: 550,000 VND/person/day.

- National youth team athletes: 450,000 VND/person/day.

- Athletes of national teams, provinces and centrally run cities: 360,000 VND/person/day.

- Youth team athletes of industries, provinces and centrally run cities: 150,000 VND/person/day.

- Athletes of gifted teams of industries, provinces and centrally run cities: 110,000 VND/person/day.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has just issued a document requesting the People's Committees of wards, communes, special zones, BOT project investors and traffic, electricity and water infrastructure management units to ensure traffic order and safety and urban beauty during the peak holiday of September 2.

The Road Traffic Infrastructure Management Center and its affiliated units must strengthen maintenance and repair of median strips, islands, traffic lights, and sign systems; handle points at risk of accidents and congestion, especially at the city gateway, expressways, National Highway 1, National Highway 13, My Phuoc - Tan Van and areas around Tan Son Nhat Airport, Mien Dong Bus Station and Mien Tay Bus Station.

Traffic management centers are assigned to monitor traffic light systems, surveillance cameras, promptly update information on electronic boards and the city's traffic information portal, and receive feedback from people 24/7 via switchboard 1022 and hotline 0388 247 247.
