Since yesterday afternoon, many points of receiving relief goods have been opened, calling for the spirit of mutual love when the North is struggling to bear heavy losses in the flood season. In all localities in the East of Lam Dong , individuals have joined hands to contribute goods and necessities, sending their wholehearted support to the people of the North.

Love and noble gestures spread throughout the afternoon of October 9, when at many gathering points for goods and necessities, there were continuously uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters and young people bringing gifts or asking for transportation.
From Mui Ne ward, Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi and her mother brought many cartons of milk, bottled water and instant noodles to the gathering point at 93 Vo Van Kiet (Phu Thuy ward, Lam Dong) to send to people in flooded areas. When asked, Nhi just smiled gently: " No, a small gift is not worth much, I just hope that people will soon overcome and stabilize their lives."

Like Nhi, young man Tran Tien Dat (Phan Thiet ward) brought nearly 20 cartons of milk, mineral water and instant noodles to support people in flood-hit areas. Dat shared: “When I saw the news in the newspaper, I was really touched and just wanted to contribute a little gift to share with everyone. I can’t go there in person, so I asked my uncle and aunt to send it for me.”

The reception point at No. 93 was called by Ms. Tran Thi Xuan Quy and many other volunteers. Since 2020, Ms. Quy has organized many donations to support people after major floods in Nghe An, Ha Tinh , Thanh Hoa... This year, when witnessing Thai Nguyen submerged in water, she continued to mobilize everyone to join hands to help.
“I don’t accept cash, only goods. If anyone asks, I will go to the warehouse to buy and have them deliver it to the destination,” Ms. Quy shared.

“As a Vietnamese, when our compatriots are in difficult situations, we must help and share. It doesn’t matter how much or how little, as long as we see our compatriots suffering less, we feel happy inside,” Ms. Xuan Quy added.

"It is expected that by tomorrow evening at the latest, there will be two buses on the way to Thai Nguyen to support people in flooded areas in time," said Ms. Quy.

At the receiving point at 32 Nguyen Hoi (Phan Thiet ward, Lam Dong), Mr. Nguyen Truong Son is also representing the reception of goods from many kind-hearted individuals. Son shared:
“Since yesterday afternoon, I have been using my house as a gathering place. Many people brought their own goods, some even went to the supermarket to buy them and brought them straight over. Many things like instant noodles, drinks, medicine... Some families donated up to 100 boxes of noodles. It is expected that on October 12, all the goods will be sent by nun Minh Tuyet Tue Thong's car to Thai Nguyen.”

At the receiving point at the end of alley 200 Thu Khoa Huan (Phu Thuy ward, Lam Dong), Ms. Dang Kim Oanh and many other women in the "Spreading love" association are busy arranging new clothes donated by merchants and shop owners, folding each blanket to prepare to send to Thai Nguyen.
Tan Hai Commune Police share with people in flood-affected areas
Not only the goodwill of the people, the spirit of sharing also spread strongly among the local armed forces.
Responding to the movement to support the North, which is struggling with floods, Tan Hai Commune Police (Lam Dong Province) organized a meaningful fundraising event. With the spirit of "mutual love", "helping each other" , all officers and soldiers of Tan Hai Commune Police joined hands to share the difficulties and losses that people in the flood-hit areas are suffering.
All money and donations will be transferred by the unit in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Hai commune to people in the disaster area as soon as possible, contributing to easing the pain and helping people stabilize their lives soon.

This humanitarian act not only demonstrates the core role of the police force in ensuring security and order, but also affirms the spirit of humanity and deep affection, spreading the message of solidarity and sharing in the community.
