Organizing "Full Moon Festival" for disabled and orphaned children

DNO - On the evening of September 26, at the Danang Red Cross Center for the Elderly and Disabled, the program "Full Moon Festival 2025" took place for 100 disabled students, orphans and children in difficult circumstances.

The program "Full Moon Festival 2025" was held on the premises of the Danang Red Cross Center for the Elderly and Disabled.

The program is organized by the Danang Red Cross Center for the Elderly and Disabled in coordination with Shark Vietnam Maxillofacial Hospital Joint Stock Company and TCI Import-Export Trading Company Limited.

The program brings a warm, connecting space, helping disabled students, orphans and children in difficult circumstances at the center have more joy during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Tuyet, Acting Director of the Red Cross Center for the Elderly and Disabled in Da Nang, this is the first time the students here have seen the lion dance. “The students and I are very touched by the community’s attention. This Mid-Autumn Festival is a special occasion for the children,” Ms. Tuyet said.

In addition to giving away lanterns and gifts of candy, milk, etc., the program also organized dental check-ups and oral health consultations for children; organized "Loving Meals" and many other artistic activities.

On this occasion, many Buddhist groups and volunteer associations in the city also came to share love with students at the Danang Red Cross Center for the Elderly and Disabled.

On the occasion of this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, Da Nang city supported 3,500 gifts for poor children and children in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND.

Communes and wards have been organizing many Mid-Autumn Festival activities for disadvantaged children and supporting them with scholarships, books, bicycles, clothes, etc.
