Unexpectedly, this banner became the center of attention on social networks, attracting thousands of likes because of its uniqueness.

Diep Nhi (29 years old, living in Hai Phong , Mr. Ba's 5th daughter) shared with Tuoi Tre Online that she was the one who prepared the banner with the message: "Welcome children and grandchildren to the tour " Returning to Grandparents' House ". This idea was her father's.

When neighbors saw the banner, everyone was curious and praised the family's grand preparations for welcoming the children home for the summer.

Mr. Khanh Ba and Mrs. Dang Nga (59 years old) have 7 children, including 6 married daughters and a son. The 6 daughters have given birth to 12 grandchildren, 1 of whom is still in the womb. Every year, during the summer, the grandchildren from all over the world such as Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Ha Nam , etc. gather at their grandparents' house in Hoa Binh to spend a week.

Nhi said that this year's "grandparents' house tour" was designed with simple but typical dishes of the homeland such as crab and eggplant soup, boiled meat, pho rolls, fried fish, roasted birds... The children were free to play on the swings, swim in the inflatable floats that were continuously pumped by their grandparents, pick star fruit, pick lotus, chase chickens, pick fruits and collect eggs. If they got bored with the garden, they could ride their bikes around the neighborhood.

Not only the children but also their parents happily joined the "tour to their grandparents' house". Nhi's six sisters arranged their work to go back to their hometown together. Those who were busy sent their children home first and returned a few days later when they were free. Nhi, because she was newly pregnant, did not move much and only returned home for 2 days, while her sisters sent their children home early.

During the day, the grandparents take care of 12 grandchildren, and at night, each child takes care of their own so that the grandparents can rest. Nhi said her parents love their children and grandchildren very much. Before the children went on summer vacation, the grandparents urged their children to take their grandchildren back to the countryside to visit.

"My sisters and I often say: 'When I come back, grandma has no more chickens.' With so many children and grandchildren, every time she kills a few, she will have to kill them all. But grandma doesn't regret it, she just eats all the chickens and kills them again," Nhi shared.

Although organizing the tour was a bit of a headache, grandparents always loved and pampered their grandchildren, making them all love to go back to their grandparents' house.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan (36 years old, eldest daughter living in Hai Phong) said that her two children Chip (15 years old) and Kem (6 years old, her children) really love the "tour to their grandparents' house". When they go back to their hometown to visit, they can have fun and stop using their phones.

"Before that, I called my grandparents to remember to take their vestibular and brain tonic medicine a week in advance. When I returned, I bought another box of sleep aid pills, and every night they took one pill," she said.

Diep Nhi said that the family members were very affectionate. When the children left, the grandparents sobbed and missed them and promised to see them again as soon as possible. The children all cried out because they missed their grandparents and siblings. One child even sang karaoke "Grandma, Grandma" because he missed them so much.

The whole family has finished the first tour with much joy and promises to do more tours in July and August if the family can arrange free time.

"We want to let the children stay for a long time, but there are only two grandparents and 12 children at home. The children's parents are both busy and can only arrange a little time to visit, but cannot stay long term," she shared.

On social networks, netizens praised Khanh Ba's grandfather for "playing big" and preparing so carefully. They also strongly reviewed the current "family tour": "My two guardians have been gone for a month and still show no signs of wanting to come back", "My family has a broken TV and two broken glasses", "When the children came back, the grandparents were very happy. When the children left, the grandparents were even happier"...
