Summary of the implementation of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in 2024

On the afternoon of December 25, the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" of the province held a conference to summarize the work in 2024, deploy tasks in 2025; summarize and award the prizes of the Online Contest "Colors of OCOP and typical products of Ninh Thuan province" in 2024.

Comrade Le Van Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” (CVD) chaired the conference. Attending were leaders of departments, branches, localities and enterprises.

In 2024, the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" at all levels advised Party committees and authorities to focus on propagating and implementing the Campaign, achieving many positive results; contributing to changing awareness, orientation and creating habits for people to consciously prioritize using Vietnamese goods. At the same time, promoting production, improving product quality and promoting trade for goods produced in the province. In the past year, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee successfully organized the forums "Listening to the voice of consumers", "Listening to the voice of businesses and distributors of Vietnamese goods"; Focus on propaganda activities on social networking platforms, successfully organize the online contest "OCOP colors and Ninh Thuan province's special products" in 2024. The Department of Industry and Trade organizes 38 mobile sales trips to bring goods to rural areas, remote areas, ethnic minority areas and organizes 11 fixed points of sale to serve people in the province. At the same time, build 1 point to display, introduce and sell OCOP products, special products of the province; support 94 units and enterprises to put 368 products on e-commerce trading floors. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development supports entities to maintain and develop 267 OCOP products associated with consumption support to bring products to supermarkets and e-commerce platforms to reach consumers.

Concluding the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the results of the implementation of the Movement in the past time. In order for the Movement to spread and achieve high results, he suggested that in 2025, member organizations, levels, sectors and related units need to continue to select and register key and breakthrough contents in the implementation of the Movement to focus on directing and implementing effectively. In the immediate future, the Steering Committee of the Movement urgently evaluates the effectiveness of bringing OCOP products, specific to the supermarket supply chain, and at the same time reviews support policies and mechanisms, removes difficulties to motivate businesses to develop products, integrates with inspection, examination, control, timely detection of poor quality products; well organizes the forum "Listening to the voices of businesses and distributors of Vietnamese goods". Strengthen digital transformation, apply information technology to promote OCOP products, specific to the province; Continue to innovate and diversify propaganda methods to change the mindset of prioritizing using Vietnamese products to the mindset of trusting Vietnamese products...

On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign in 2024. The Campaign Steering Committee awarded prizes to 16 works participating in the Online Contest "OCOP Colors and Special Products of Ninh Thuan Province" in 2024.
