Summary and award ceremony of the contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the evening of August 18, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to organize a closing ceremony and award ceremony for the Contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day, the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, and the writing and drawing contest for children of Thanh Hoa Police officers and soldiers with the theme "I love my parents - People's Public Security soldiers".

Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Van Chau, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; leaders of the Provincial Police and provincial departments and branches.

The contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025) was organized in the form of online quizzes and written tests. After implementation, the contest created a strong ripple effect, with the active participation of all levels, branches, units, localities, youth union members, and women's union members in the Thanh Hoa Public Security force.

Colonel Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department delivered the opening speech at the ceremony.

In particular, the online multiple-choice test will take place from April 4, 2025 to June 13, 2025, revolving around 10 topics about 80 years of glorious tradition of the People's Public Security and 20 years of National Day for National Security Protection.

For the writing contest, after more than 3 months of launching, the Organizing Committee has received more than 2,000 entries from authors and groups of authors. Of which, there are more than 1,000 entries from officers and soldiers of police units in the province and more than 200 entries from officers, party members and people in the province.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, most of the authors and groups of authors invested, researched carefully, and answered correctly and fully the content of the contest questions. Many entries were not only profound in content but also diverse and rich in form and presentation methods, with tight layouts, vivid illustrations, QR codes and creative models designed in a modern, solemn manner, honoring the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldiers.

The Organizing Committee has selected and proposed the Provincial Police Director to award prizes to authors and groups of authors with outstanding works, serving the exhibition and wide dissemination in the coming time. At the same time, the 5 most typical entries were selected to participate in the Ministry-level contest. As a result, Thanh Hoa province had 3 winning entries out of 80 national winning entries and was 1/20 units to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Public Security for outstanding achievements in organizing the contest.

The leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Police awarded the A prize to the winners of the Contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

The leaders of the Provincial Police and the Provincial Youth Union awarded the B prize to the winners of the Contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Police (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Leaders of the Provincial Police and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the C prize to the winners of the Contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Police (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 10 C prizes, 15 Encouragement prizes and 5 special prizes to the authors and groups of authors who won the Contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Police awarded the first prize of the Writing and Drawing Contest to children of officers and soldiers of Thanh Hoa Police.

Leaders of the Provincial Police and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the third prize in the writing and drawing contest to children of Thanh Hoa police officers and soldiers.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes to children of police officers and soldiers whose works won the Writing and Drawing Contest for Children of Thanh Hoa Police Officers and Soldiers with the theme "I love my parents - People's Police Soldiers".
