Vietnam General Confederation of Labor adjusts union congress time

On September 14, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor informed that to ensure the progress of the congress, this agency decided to adjust the time of the provincial Trade Union congress.

The adjustment also applies to central and equivalent industry trade unions and general corporation trade unions under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor .

Accordingly, the Provincial Trade Union Congress is adjusted to be held immediately after the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the same level and completed before December 31, 2025. The Central Industry Trade Union Congress and equivalent, and the General Corporation Trade Union under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor must be completed before December 31, 2025. The term of the congress is 2025-2030.

For grassroots trade unions, if there is a structure of delegates attending the provincial and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor trade union congresses, they should focus on directing the congresses to ensure the progress of the provincial trade union congresses.

The Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requests provincial and municipal labor federations, central and equivalent industry trade unions, and general corporation trade unions under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to base on this document to report to the leadership committee on the organization of the congress to ensure quality, efficiency, and on time as prescribed.
