Exciting Sports Festival to welcome the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Organizations

Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front attended.

Taking place over two days, the sports festival gathered many outstanding delegations of athletes from departments and units of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the central level to compete in three events: Tug of war, Pickleball and table tennis, with 12 events.

These are sports that not only help train physical strength, endurance, and flexible reflexes, but also clearly demonstrate team spirit, coordination, and cohesion among athletes.

According to comrade Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the organization of this sports festival not only contributes to improving the spiritual life and health of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, but also serves as an opportunity for departments and units to exchange, learn, strengthen solidarity, and consolidate the great solidarity bloc between departments and units of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the Central.

With practical significance, the sports festival received enthusiastic response from 313 athletes from 12 delegations of party committees and branches under the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central mass organizations and 6 delegations of party committees and branches under the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with 137 exciting competitions.

The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in tug of war, first prize in men's singles over 46 years old in table tennis, and first prize in women's singles in table tennis to the Party Delegation of Lao Dong Newspaper.

Before the closing ceremony, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien played table tennis with the winning athletes.
