On the afternoon of November 27, Ha Tinh City held a conference to evaluate the implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024. |
Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Trong Hieu and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Quang Duc chaired the conference.
Resolution No. 51/NQ-HĐND dated December 21, 2022 of the City People's Council on socio-economic development tasks in 2023 sets out 25 main targets, of which 24 are expected to be achieved and exceeded. The growth rate is estimated at 11.9%. Total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at VND 1,110 billion, equal to 135% of the plan assigned by the province, 107% of the plan assigned by the City People's Council.

Trade, services and tourism maintained a good growth rate. Total retail sales of goods and social services reached VND 22,822 billion, up 15.3% compared to 2022. The value of industrial and handicraft production is estimated at VND 1,867 billion, up 9.1% over the same period last year. The production value of agriculture, forestry and fishery is estimated at VND 238.8 billion, equal to 106.2% over the same period in 2022.
During the year, 352 enterprises and 4 cooperatives were newly established. Urban planning, construction and management were highly focused. New projects were accelerated. The disbursement of public investment capital from the central and provincial sources reached 57%; the city's capital reached 61%.
Activities to build civilized urban areas, wards meeting urban and new rural standards are focused on. The cultural and social fields continue to develop. Education and training have achieved many outstanding results. Social security policies are implemented promptly. Administrative reform and anti-corruption work are deployed vigorously. Political security and social order and safety remain stable.

In 2024, Ha Tinh City plans to develop 26 socio-economic development targets. Accordingly, the head of the city government requested departments, branches, and localities to review and carefully study the targets of the Resolution of the 21st City Party Congress and vertical targets to develop a set of targets that are accurate, synchronous, and consistent with the spirit of reality.
