Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Minh Thanh emphasized that after the expansion, the new Ho Chi Minh City now has a population of more than 14 million people and an area of up to 6,700 km2; has been and is the economic - cultural - scientific - technological locomotive of Vietnam, and is rising to become a high-quality and sustainably developed megacity in the region.
“Today, at the Vietnam Exhibition Hall at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, visitors will have the opportunity to fully experience and feel the culture, people, creativity and innovation of Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, explore the rich potential for cooperation in the fields of economy, education , urban development, as well as the achievements and unique cultural identity of the city,” Mr. Bui Minh Thanh shared.
Ho Chi Minh City's days at EXPO 2025 last from September 25 to 30 at the Vietnam Exhibition House.
The event offers a variety of activities such as video presentations, photo exhibitions, interactive games, etc. Visitors to the Exhibition House will have the opportunity to experience and learn about the culture, people, creativity and comprehensive development potential of Ho Chi Minh City in many fields such as economy, education, urban, culture, sports and tourism, etc.
Within the framework of the World Exhibition EXPO 2025 Osaka (Kansai, Japan), the Vietnam Exhibition House regularly coordinates with ministries, branches, and local authorities in the country to organize events to promote the country and people of Vietnam, introduce the potential of provinces and cities, and enhance cooperation and investment opportunities between Vietnamese and international enterprises.

On September 23, Vietnam Exhibition House surpassed many strong candidates to receive the Bronze Award in the Best Team category at The World Expolympics Awards presented by The Experiential Design Authority.
