According to the report of the Central Central Hydrometeorological Station, storm Bualoi is moving into the East Sea at a speed of about 35 km/h and is showing signs of weakening. In Da Nang City, from September 27 to 29, it may be affected by the storm's circulation, causing moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms. The city is requested to closely monitor all developments of the storm, proactively warn and fully update information on natural disasters such as heavy rain, floods, flash floods, landslides, inundation, etc.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment reported that heavy rains have occurred in some mountainous areas. Irrigation and hydroelectric reservoirs in the area are still at low levels. The city has more than 4,300 hectares of rice, of which more than 39,000 hectares have been harvested. Regarding aquaculture, there are currently 2,380 cages in operation. The Department has issued documents guiding localities to implement storm prevention and control measures for agricultural production and aquaculture.
The City Border Guard said that as of noon on September 26, there were still 109 fishing boats with 881 workers operating in the Hoang Sa waters; 69 fishing boats with 2,923 workers in the Truong Sa waters; and 2 fishing boats with 146 workers in the Gulf of Tonkin. The Border Guard Command is continuing to monitor and contact the owners of the vessels to call on the boats to take shelter in a safe place.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Nam Hung noted that although the storm's intensity was assessed as moderate, units and localities absolutely must not be subjective or negligent. The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized that the storm could change direction unexpectedly, while the sea and coastal areas of the City are still likely to experience strong winds and heavy rain - factors that could affect the safety of life and property if not strictly controlled.

"Industries, units and localities must have a firm grasp of their functions and tasks and immediately deploy response measures at the scene according to the approved plan. There should be no passive or confused situations. Information to the people about storm developments and response instructions must be carried out regularly, continuously and in an accessible manner," Mr. Tran Nam Hung emphasized.
Regarding activities at sea, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned the City Border Guard to coordinate with localities and functional agencies to urgently organize announcements and call on ships to leave dangerous areas or enter safe shelters. Absolutely do not let vehicles anchor in unsafe locations. The City will also proactively consider stopping activities at sea, especially the Cua Dai - Cu Lao Cham waterway passenger transport route, to ensure maximum safety for residents and tourists.
The leaders of Da Nang City requested communes, wards, and press agencies to step up disaster warning information to each residential area and each household. Schools, headquarters, and units must be checked and promptly reinforced to minimize damage to facilities when storms occur. For projects under construction, especially in densely populated areas or complex terrain, relevant units must deploy plans to protect the projects, to prevent collapses and landslides that affect people and neighboring projects.
The City leaders also noted that local authorities need to proactively review, warn and deploy forces in areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, and flooding - especially in mountainous areas, low-lying areas, and riverside areas. On roads that are often deeply flooded, forces must be deployed to guard and assist people in safe travel, to prevent unfortunate accidents.
"The city requires the entire political system to take drastic action, deploy responses with the motto of closely following reality, handling flexibly, and minimizing damage. The safety of people's lives and property is the top priority in all disaster response scenarios," Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung emphasized.
