Deploying preparations for the two matches between Vietnam and Nepal in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers

VHO - On September 26, at Thong Nhat Sports Center (HCMC), a meeting was held to prepare for the return match between Nepal and Vietnam in Group F of the third qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Championship (AFC Asian Cup 2027) on October 14.

After finishing the first leg match at Binh Duong Stadium (HCMC) on October 9, the Nepal team will move to stay at De Nhat Hotel (Tan Son Nhat Ward, HCMC) to prepare for the second leg match.

The organizing committee will try its best to prepare for the two matches of the Vietnamese team.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said: "The Vietnam team will have an official training session on the evening of October 13. Before that, the Organizing Committee will have 2 technical meetings and a press conference at Thong Nhat Stadium."

A day earlier, at the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, a meeting was held to review and evaluate the preparations for the match between Vietnam and Nepal at 7:30 p.m. on October 9 in the third qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.

At the meeting, representatives of VFF functional departments reported on issues related to the preparation for the organization of the two events. Representatives of security, health , stadium, etc. of Ho Chi Minh City also presented related issues to coordinate and implement with VFF.

Thong Nhat Stadium will host the second leg between Vietnam and Nepal.

Mr. Cao Van Chong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City said that the local organizing committee will coordinate with the VFF to successfully organize the two events, contributing to affirming the prestige of Vietnamese football with the AFC.

According to the plan in early October, the Vietnamese team will gather to prepare for two matches with Nepal at 7:30 p.m. on October 9 at Go Dau Stadium (HCMC) and at 7:30 p.m. on October 14 at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC).

These two matches will be broadcast live on the digital platforms of the two units by VFF in collaboration withFPT Play. VFF will soon announce the ticket sales plan for the two matches to fans.
