On October 7, at the headquarters of the City People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong chaired a conference to pilot the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Government Management Platform, phase 1, with the participation of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of wards and communes.

At the conference, Mr. Duong Hong Thang - Chief of the City People's Committee Office said that after the merger, the city has nearly 50,000 cadres, civil servants and public employees, each unit using many separate software systems, causing difficulties in access and management. Building a centralized platform to help unified access to processes, documents and working tools will create convenience and improve operational efficiency.

Introducing the platform, Ms. Vo Thi Trung Trinh - Director of the City Digital Transformation Center said that the system includes work support functions such as: reminding tasks to be processed, tracking tasks from superiors, assigning tasks immediately, internal communication, integrating staff contacts and quickly notifying important news. These utilities help leaders and civil servants handle work quickly, transparently and with high connectivity.

It is expected that in the first quarter of 2026, the city will deploy phase 2 with many additional utilities, including web versions and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
In his concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized that the implementation of the platform is a concrete step to realize Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. The City expects this platform to change working methods, standardize processes, reduce paperwork, and build a professional, transparent and dynamic working environment.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of wards and communes quickly organize training and guidance for the direct users, especially the department-level managers. The City People's Committee Office will determine the testing time, official operation and promulgate usage regulations to ensure consistency when deployed throughout the city.
The City Digital Transformation Center continues to listen to comments, improve and add functions to optimize the platform's operational efficiency in the coming time.
