Tra Vinh won 06 medals at the National Youth Archery Championship

Tra Vinh Archery Team participated in the tournament with 07 athletes and 02 coaches.

The tournament attracted over 200 male and female athletes from 19 provinces and cities across the country. The athletes competed in 62 events in 2 age groups U18 and U21, with 2 types of bows: 1 string, 3 string at different distances. In addition to individual competitions, the tournament also included combined events such as: men's doubles, women's doubles and team. This tournament is not only an opportunity for athletes to demonstrate their skills but also contributes to the development of archery in the country.

After 1 week of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 62 Gold Medals, 62 Silver Medals and 84 Bronze Medals to outstanding individuals and groups.

In the overall ranking, Hanoi won first place with 30 gold medals, 31 silver medals and 21 bronze medals; Dak Lak province ranked second with 06 gold medals, 08 silver medals and 06 bronze medals; the host unit Ba Ria - Vung Tau ranked third with 06 gold medals, 03 silver medals and 03 bronze medals.

Tra Vinh province alone has 07 athletes (01 male, 06 female) and 02 coaches participating in this tournament. At the end of the competition, Tra Vinh Archery team excellently won 06 medals of all kinds including: 02 Gold Medals and 04 Bronze Medals, ranked 9th out of 19 participating units.

Of which, 02 Gold Medals were won in the women's singles, 3-string bow, 60m distance, U18 age group (athlete Dang Thi Kim Ngan) and the mixed doubles, 3-string bow, 50m distance, U18 age group (2 athletes Dang Thi Kim Ngan and Phan Van Phung). Meanwhile, 04 Bronze Medals of Tra Vinh were won in the following events: Men's individual qualifying, 50m distance, U18 age group; Women's singles, 60m distance, U21 age group; Women's doubles, 50m distance, U21 age group and Women's team, 50m distance, U21 age group.

Notably, the 02 Gold Medals won by Tra Vinh unit both set national records. In which, athlete Dang Thi Kim Ngan scored 344 points and 02 athletes Dang Thi Kim Ngan and Phan Van Phung scored 151 points.
