Experience the night journey to Da Lat at the oldest train station in Vietnam

The Da Lat - Trai Mat railway line is 6.7km long, the remaining part of the Thap Cham - Da Lat line, 84km long, connecting Ninh Thuan with Lam Dong, put into operation in 1932, built by the French. This is the only unique cog railway line in Vietnam serving tourists visiting Da Lat city.

The Da Lat - Trai Mat night train route, called "Da Lat Night Journey", runs at a slow speed, with a total round trip time of 1 hour. It is operated by Vietnam Railways Corporation and serves tourists from 6:15 pm to 9:20 pm every day. By joining this night train route, in addition to experiencing the beautiful night scenery of Da Lat, tourists can also enjoy music and dinner parties upon request.

Speaking at the opening night of the Da Lat - Trai Mat night train route, Mr. Dao Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Railway Corporation, said that in recent years, the railway industry has made efforts to innovate and upgrade stations, trains and develop transport products not only to serve travel needs but also towards the goal of each train journey being for tourism and experience. The train is a "mobile check-in" point, the station is a destination for culture, art, history and heritage.
