'Autumn Moon on the Border' - Bringing Mid-Autumn Festival to children and people of Chau Thanh commune

On the morning of September 22, at the Military Command of Chau Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province, the Military Radio and Television Center, the Committee for Population, Family and Children of the Ministry of National Defense, the Political Department of Military Region 7 coordinated with the People's Committee of Chau Thanh commune to organize a program to examine, provide health consultation, provide medicine and give gifts to people in the commune.

The program is part of the "Autumn Moon at the Border" series of activities organized by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army in Tay Ninh province.

Leaders of the Military Radio and Television Center and sponsors presented medicine to local government representatives.

At the program, 200 children, the elderly, policy beneficiaries, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances received medical examinations, health consultations, and medicine.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee mobilized Bao Dai Rice Milling Company Limited to donate 500 portions of rice to the people. The total value of support resources is 300 million VND.

The organizers gave Mid-Autumn gifts to people in Chau Thanh commune.

Every Mid-Autumn Festival, "Border Moon" is organized by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, to demonstrate the role of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army in caring for children and people in all parts of the country, especially in remote border areas and islands. Thereby, contributing to spreading the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" among the people, contributing to building a strong local political system, a solid local defense area./.
