'Autumn Moon on the Border': Bringing Mid-Autumn Festival to children in Hoa Hoi commune

On the morning of September 21, in Hoa Hoi commune, Tay Ninh province, the Military Radio and Television Center coordinated with the Border Guard Command and Military Region 7 to organize the program "Autumn Moon on the Border" in 2025, giving Mid-Autumn gifts to children in difficult circumstances.

Delegates, guests and children watched the performance to welcome the program.

Attending the event were Colonel Nguyen Van Hoan - Deputy Director of the Military Radio and Television Center; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Hoa - Chief of Office of the Committee for Population, Family and Children of the Ministry of National Defense ; Lieutenant Colonel Vo Duc Dung - Deputy Chief of Politics of the Provincial Military Command; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Dung - Deputy Political Commissar, Major Dao Dinh Luyen - Deputy Chief of Politics of the Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command; delegates from Romeas Haek district, Svay Rieng province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Hoa - Chief of Office of the Committee for Population, Family and Children, Ministry of National Defense presented gifts to children.

The organizing committee presented 100 gifts and 40 bicycles, worth more than 200 million VND in total, to 40 children in Hoa Hoi commune, Tay Ninh province and 60 children in Doung commune, Romeas Haek district, Svay Rieng province, Kingdom of Cambodia.

The gifts included bicycles, backpacks, school supplies, scholarships, lanterns, candies, milk and many other practical necessities. This was not only a material sharing but also a source of spiritual encouragement, helping the children to have more joy during the full moon season, continuing to go to school with many aspirations and dreams.

“Autumn Moon on the Border” is an annual activity, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual love and affection and the image of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers”. Thereby, the program not only brings Mid-Autumn joy to children in border areas but also fosters solidarity and close ties between the people of Vietnam and Cambodia, continuing the fine tradition of friendship./.
