Buddha's birthday 2567 - solar calendar 2023 is an opportunity for monks, nuns, and Buddhists inside and outside Hong Linh town ( Ha Tinh ) to review the life and immeasurable merits of Buddha Shakyamuni.

At the Buddhist Cultural Center of Hong Linh town (at the foot of Long Dam pagoda, Duc Thuan ward), the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hong Linh town solemnly held the Buddha's birthday celebration, Buddhist calendar 2567 - solar calendar 2023.

The message emphasized that this year, during the Buddha's birthday, Vietnamese Buddhists also respectfully commemorate the 60th anniversary of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc, the Dharma Master who immolated himself to fight for national peace . His flame of compassion and his immortal heart have the power to illuminate and awaken human conscience, dispel all hatred, and overcome all narrow-minded selfish individualism and all extremist ideas. He is a shining symbol of the spirit of compassion, wisdom, and courage of a Bodhisattva in this world and the worldly spirit of Vietnamese Buddhism.
