As soon as the storm subsided, since yesterday morning (September 29), schools across the province have urgently mobilized cadres, teachers, staff, and the support of youth union members, police, military forces , and parents to clean up and sanitize classrooms. Some high schools and middle schools have also mobilized students to participate in order to quickly stabilize teaching and learning conditions.

At Tan Giang Primary School – Thanh Sen Ward, since this morning (September 30), teaching and learning activities have returned to normal. This is the result of the active participation of the school community in urgently overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, mobilizing staff, teachers, and parents to organize cleaning and renovating the facilities.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan - Principal of Tan Giang Primary School said: "Quickly maintaining a learning routine not only creates a habit of stable hours for students but also helps parents feel secure at work after the storm. This is the responsibility and also the joint effort of the entire school. Currently, more than 600 students have attended class. Teaching and professional activities are maintained according to the school year plan."

At Le Van Thiem Secondary School - Thanh Sen Ward, the learning routine also soon stabilized. Before that, the school focused on cleaning the entire campus, checking the electrical system, classrooms, and teaching equipment to ensure safety before welcoming students back to school. The school's board of directors also proactively implemented teaching activities appropriate to reality, prioritizing light lessons, increasing interaction between teachers and students to create a friendly learning atmosphere, helping students quickly regain their spirit and concentration after a day of interruption due to storms.
Nguyen Thi Ha Anh - class 9.4, Le Van Thiem Secondary School shared: "I am very happy that the school has soon restored the learning routine. This year is the final year, there is a lot of knowledge, if the learning is interrupted for a long time, it will greatly affect the review process and preparation for the 10th grade entrance exam. Returning to school early helps us to study with peace of mind and has more motivation to strive."

Thanh Sen Ward said that as of this morning (September 30), all schools in the area have resumed teaching.
In other localities, due to the heavy impact of the storm, the school cleaning activities after the storm continue with the determination to bring students back to school soon. At Mai Thuc Loan High School (Mai Phu commune) - together with the staff and teachers, this morning, the whole school's students participated in cleaning the school. Teaching and learning at the school will continue according to the schedule - starting from this afternoon.
At Thach Long Primary School (Thach Ha commune), after the sadness of heavy damage to facilities, in recent days, along with the efforts of the staff and teachers, the school has also received support from parents and military forces in clearing trees, cutting corrugated iron roofs, cleaning classrooms, and moving tables and chairs from some classrooms with damaged roofs to functional rooms.

Ms. Duong Thi Hong Thuong - Principal of Thach Long Primary School shared: "Along with efforts in school sanitation, we also consulted with local authorities to strengthen and consolidate the school's facilities. With the attention and contribution of forces in speeding up the progress of overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, the school is determined to maintain the learning routine for students starting from October 1st."

Also this morning, schools in the old districts such as Huong Son, Huong Khe and Duc Tho are also making efforts to clean up and sanitize classrooms to welcome students back to school as soon as possible. Some schools in the old communes of Son Mai and Son Thuy (now Kim Hoa commune) are located in low-lying areas, the water recedes slowly, so they will only be able to welcome students back to school this weekend.
According to initial statistics from the Department of Education and Training, storm No. 10 has severely affected more than 400 schools in the area, with total estimated damage of nearly 430 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training said: "After the storm passed, the unit established working groups to go to educational establishments to grasp the situation, encourage units to overcome the consequences to soon maintain stable learning order. The industry also directed units to continue to monitor and grasp the situation of rain and floods and the risk of flash floods and landslides, promptly inform all cadres, teachers, staff and students to proactively prevent, only when safety is ensured will students be notified to return to school".
Storm No. 10 left behind heavy damage to school facilities, however, with the timely attention and direction of the education sector and localities, the participation of forces has become the driving force for schools to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize learning routines. It is expected that from October 1, schools in the whole province will basically return to studying according to the timetable.
