Awarding 50 scholarships to poor students in Thang Dien commune

DNO - On the afternoon of September 19, at Vo Thi Sau Primary School (Thang Dien commune), An Thai Village Love Association coordinated with the school to award scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties for the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, the An Thai Village Love Association awarded 25 scholarships (VND 2 million/scholarship) to 25 disadvantaged students of Vo Thi Sau Primary School. The entire funding was sponsored by Mr. Tran Viet Tan (a member of the An Thai Village Love Association, currently living in Ho Chi Minh City).

Previously, Mr. Tan also supported 25 scholarships (VND 2 million/scholarship) for disadvantaged students at Phan Chau Trinh Secondary School on the occasion of the new school year.

The An Thai Village Love Association was established in 2021 and currently has more than 800 members. Recently, the association has mobilized more than 2 billion VND to build 4km of electricity to light up the countryside roads and 2km of rural traffic in An Thai village (Thang Dien commune).

Mr. Tran Viet Tan alone contributed 300 million VND to award scholarships to 50 students of Vo Thi Sau Primary School and Phan Chau Trinh Secondary School, 100 million VND per school year.
