The contest is organized by Tourism Magazine, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists. The award ceremony and photo exhibition "Shining Vietnam - Amazing Vietnam" is a meaningful activity on the occasion of the traditional day of the Culture sector on August 28 and welcoming the National Day on September 2.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh - Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Chairman of the Jury Council said that the contest has received the attention of many photography artists in particular and photography lovers in general.
Most of the entries are of good quality, closely following the theme of tourism with many rich and diverse topics, many new perspectives, rich in creativity and artistry; serving as the basis for forming a photo data system serving the promotion and advertising work for the Vietnamese tourism industry.

Evaluating the contest, Mr. Nguyen Duc Xuyen - Editor-in-Chief of Tourism Magazine, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee shared that the contest, held online at the website www.anhnghethuatdulich.com, created many interactive activities with the community and tourists.
Among them, there are works that have reached over 9,000 likes. The organizing committee has found many typical photographic works with high media value. The works will contribute to propagating and promoting the culture and image of the country and people of Vietnam to domestic and international tourists; strengthening the photo archive serving the activities of promoting and advertising Vietnam Tourism.

After a period of serious work, the Jury unanimously selected 11 winning works, including 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes, and 5 Encouragement prizes.
In addition, the Contest has found 1 work with the most likes, 1 work with the most shares through the evaluation and selection of professional and amateur photographers, readers as well as photography enthusiasts on the Travel Magazine fanpage (www.facebook.com/Vietnam Tourism Review/). The Jury has also selected 175 best photos to display at the exhibition.
