Giving gifts to support people in flood-hit areas of Viet Hong

On October 12, the Youth Union of Yen Bai ward coordinated with benefactors to organize the giving of 120 gifts to households affected by floods in Viet Hong commune.

Affected by the recent storm No. 10, Viet Hong commune is one of the most severely damaged localities in Lao Cai province. Prolonged heavy rains caused landslides, flooding many crop areas, washed away property, damaged houses and public works, making people's lives difficult. Many households lost all their food and household items and need urgent support to quickly restore production and stabilize their lives.

Faced with that situation, the youth of Yen Bai ward called for the cooperation of benefactors to donate 120 gifts, including money and essential necessities (rice, instant noodles, clean water, cooking oil, fish sauce, laundry detergent, MSG, medicine...), with a total value of nearly 90 million VND.

This meaningful activity demonstrates the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other" of the youth of Yen Bai ward and the community, contributing to spreading the humane message of social responsibility and humanity in times of trouble. Thereby, strengthening the solidarity and unity to help people in the flood-hit areas of Lao Cai to soon stabilize their lives and feel secure in their work and production.
