The "Digital Education for All" movement was launched to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on digital transformation of Thanh Hoa province by 2025, with a vision to 2030; Plan No. 164/KH-LĐLĐ of the Provincial Labor Federation Standing Committee to implement Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation Trinh Thi Hoa deployed the movement plan "Digital Popular Education" in all levels of Thanh Hoa province's labor unions.
The movement "Digital Literacy for All" aims to popularize basic knowledge about digital transformation and skills for cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) with a revolutionary and comprehensive spirit, "no one is left behind" in the digital transformation process.
All cadres and employees are equipped with the necessary digital knowledge and skills to apply in daily life to grasp, utilize, exploit, and enjoy the achievements of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Thereby, enhancing the role and responsibility of trade unions at all levels, especially the heads of trade unions at all levels, in leading and directing the implementation of movements, performing tasks and solutions to popularize basic knowledge on digital transformation and digital skills for union members and employees; at the same time, accelerating the digital transformation process of agencies, units and enterprises.
Overview of the conference.
The movement includes the following contents: Propaganda, dissemination, creating strong changes in awareness and actions of trade unions at all levels, cadres, union members, and employees on digital transformation and the dissemination of digital skills for cadres, union members, and employees in the national digital transformation process.
Organize “Digital Literacy” classes both in person and online, providing basic knowledge and skills in information technology; essential digital skills, helping cadres, union members, and employees access the internet and use appropriate digital platforms.
Establishing teams of cadres, union members, and employees plays a core role in supporting and disseminating knowledge about digital transformation to employees, especially employees in enterprises.
Compete in self-study on digital transformation, practice and develop digital skills to meet the digital transformation requirements of trade union organizations, agencies, units and enterprises; effectively exploit digital services, platforms, and artificial intelligence (AI) technology in work and life; participate in building digital units, digital communities, families and digital citizens.
Link the movement with the movements being implemented, especially the emulation movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promoting lifelong learning in the period 2023 - 2030".
Based on the Plan for implementing the "Digital Education for All" movement of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the actual situation of the locality and unit, the Provincial Federation of Labor requests the trade union at the direct superior level and the grassroots trade union directly under the Provincial Federation of Labor to proactively advise the Party Committee, coordinate with the authorities at the same level to develop a plan to deploy to grassroots trade unions and cadres, union members, and employees in the locality, industry, and affiliated units.
Direct, urge and inspect the implementation of the "Digital Education for All" movement; coordinate with the government and social forces to invest resources and create conditions to ensure the implementation of the "Digital Education for All" movement at their level.
Directing grassroots trade unions under the organization to research, study and develop plans to implement the "Digital Literacy Movement" and establish a model of "Community Digital Technology Group".
Focus on inspection, review, evaluation, and experience drawing of implementation. Every 6 months and 1 year, report the implementation results to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor through the Propaganda and Women's Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
