In Decision No. 2622/QD-BVHTTDL, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize this exhibition in Nghe An in August 2025.
The exhibition aims to affirm the stature, historical significance and brilliant milestone of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).
Point out the reasons for victory and lessons learned; creatively apply the lessons of the August Revolution in the struggle for national liberation and national reunification as well as in the cause of national construction, development and defense.
The exhibition also promotes achievements in building a socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam of the people, by the people, for the people.
Highlighting the country's great victories and achievements over the past eight decades, especially after nearly 40 years of implementing the national renewal policy initiated and led by the Party, and at the same time highlighting the great contributions of the entire Party, people and army in the struggle for national liberation and reunification as well as in the cause of building, developing and defending the Fatherland.
Encourage, motivate, inspire, and arouse pride in cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life to strive and make efforts to overcome difficulties, successfully complete political goals and tasks, compete to achieve achievements to celebrate major national holidays, and be determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will have from 100 to 150 large-scale propaganda paintings printed on plastic canvas (hiflex) stretched on iron-framed panels.
