Eliminate illegal drug use hotspot at karaoke business in Phu Quoc

On August 22, the Social Order Administrative Police Department of the Provincial Police Department announced that it had coordinated with professional units of the Provincial Police Department and the Phu Quoc Special Zone Police Department to conduct a surprise inspection of a Karaoke service business establishment, catching 23 subjects red-handed illegally using drugs.

At 1:00 a.m. on August 22, a working group chaired by the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, in coordination with the Social Order Administrative Management Police Department, the Mobile Police Department and the Phu Quoc Special Zone Police, conducted a surprise inspection of a karaoke service business in Ward 1, Duong Dong.

During the inspection of 18 karaoke rooms, the police force caught many subjects illegally using drugs. After a quick test, 23 subjects tested positive for drugs. The seized evidence included 11 nylon bags containing crystals and 31 red tablets (suspected to be drugs), 4 gas cylinders and many tools for illegal drug use.
