(Dan Tri) - Duc Phuc received a prize of 30 million rubles (more than 9 billion VND) when he won the Intervision 2025 contest. Sharing after being crowned, he said he would use part of the prize money for charity.

On the evening of September 20, the final round of the Intervision 2025 international music competition took place in Russia with the victory of Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc. He excellently won the championship with an explosive performance of Phu Dong Thien Vuong.

Duc Phuc’s victory and emotional performance received much praise from the media and fans in Russia. Russian audiences shared that the victory of the Vietnamese artist symbolizes the spirit of cultural exchange and friendship of the Asia-Europe music scene in the new period.

Russian newspapers such as RIA Novosti, Rossiyskaya Gazeta (RG) and Regnum praised Duc Phuc's beautiful voice, confident and emotional performance style. Russian critics commented that his emotional performance style, which skillfully combined Eastern and modern culture, helped him win.

Sharing with Russian media after the final, Duc Phuc said he wanted to use part of the prize money to contribute to a charity fund in Russia.

Intervision is a music competition organized by the International Broadcasting Union (ITU), which existed from 1946 to 1993. Last February, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on re-organizing the Intervision international music competition.

Duc Phuc brought to the contest the song Phu Dong Thien Vuong , composed by musician Ho Hoai Anh, inspired by the poem Tre Viet Nam by poet Nguyen Duy. Duc Phuc's performance was in Vietnamese, mixed with a few English sentences to introduce the theme.

Nguyen Duc Phuc (28 years old) was the Champion of The Voice Vietnam in 2015.
