According to a survey by Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, for individual customers depositing money without a term, VietinBank listed the interest rate at 0.1%/year. Customers depositing money for less than 1 month received an interest rate of 0.2%/year. For individual customers depositing savings for a term of 1 to less than 3 months, VietinBank listed the interest rate at 3%/year. For terms from 3 to less than 6 months, VietinBank listed the interest rate at 3.3%/year. Savings interest rates at VietinBank for terms from 6 to less than 12 months were at 4.3%/year. Customers depositing money for 12 to over 36 months received the highest interest rate of 5.3%/year.
