In a simple room at the Oncology Center, Cho Ray Hospital, soft music melodies resound, mixed with inspiring book reading voices, creating a close atmosphere on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival 2025. In addition, a healing yoga class with slow, peaceful movements helps patients regain balance after long days of fatigue due to chemotherapy, surgery or insomnia.

The atmosphere of the program became more bustling when a "K warrior" boldly stepped onto the stage to sing. Her voice was full of confidence and optimism. In the auditorium, other patients did not hesitate to join in, jumping and swaying to each melody. The applause was thunderous, everyone's faces were radiant, erasing the daily fatigue of illness.
Ms. Dinh Thi Phuong Lan (48 years old, in Dong Nai ) said that she had just undergone breast cancer surgery 8 days ago and when she came to the program, all her worries seemed to disappear.
"I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 months ago and was very worried. But when I came to the program and saw that everyone was very energetic and optimistic, I also learned to live a more positive and happy life," said Ms. Phuong Lan.
Similarly, Ms. Ngo Thi Bich Lien (53 years old, in Binh Dong ward, Ho Chi Minh City) discovered she had breast cancer 3 years ago.
"One time, while I was lying down and raising my arm to check myself, I felt a lump in my chest. When I went to the hospital, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had surgery before but it relapsed, so this time I had to have surgery again. Participating in the Mid-Autumn Festival program at the hospital, I felt like I had more strength, optimism, and joy," Ms. Lien expressed.

Not only yoga or music , "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love" also brings small gifts and warm meals called "meals of love". For patients, it is not only sharing, but also a message that they are not alone in their journey to fight the disease.
Master Le Minh Hien, Head of Social Work Department of Cho Ray Hospital, said that the "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love" program is part of a series of activities to accompany K warriors.
"Every smile, every bright look from a patient is a priceless gift. We hope that programs like this will help them feel cared for and have more strength to fight and win back their lives," Mr. Hien shared.
