Head of Propaganda Department of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee requests early retirement

On February 11, Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee announced that Mr. Huynh The Manh, Head of the Propaganda Department of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, requested to retire according to his personal wishes.

On the same morning, Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on the organizational structure merger between the Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to merge the Propaganda and Education Committee and the Mass Mobilization Committee into the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee. Ms. Pham Thi To Hai, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and head of the Mass Mobilization Committee, was assigned to hold the position of head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee.

At the same time, the decision to establish the Party Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party agencies was announced. Mr. Chau Ngoc Tuan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party agencies for the 2020-2025 term; Mr. Thai Thanh Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party agencies for the 2020-2025 term; Mr. Do Tien Dong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, was appointed to hold the position of full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.

Also at the conference announcing decisions on organizational structure and personnel, the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee announced the retirement decision for Mr. Huynh The Manh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department. Mr. Manh will retire from March 1.

It is known that Mr. Huynh The Manh is 59 years old this year and has applied for early retirement as desired even though he still has 3 years of work left.

Mr. Manh said that voluntarily asking for early retirement is to respond to and comply with the policy of streamlining and reorganizing the apparatus.
