CMC University cooperates with ASUS Vietnam to give laptops to new students

On July 25, CMC University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with ASUS Vietnam. At the event, the laptop product line manufactured by ASUS Vietnam exclusively for the laptop donation program for K4 new students of CMC University was announced with special AI and security features.

In the program of giving laptops to all new K4 students entering in 2025 of CMC University, ASUS Vietnam has produced a product line specially designed with smart AI features and security features such as: Free support for voice subtitles and content translation in online meeting applications; summarizing meeting content without internet; automatically recovering the original BIOS when changed; warning of unauthorized opening of the device;...

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Principal of CMC University said: "Signing a cooperation agreement with ASUS Vietnam to provide AI-integrated computers, supporting learning and exchanging online learning materials more effectively is a practical step to improve the quality of training. This is also a testament to the educational technology development orientation that CMC University pursues."

Speaking about the cooperation with CMC University, Mr. Kenny Chien - Director of ASUS Vietnam affirmed: "ASUS will not only provide advanced technology products, but also wishes to accompany the School in many activities such as career fairs, technology experience events and seminars. We believe that ASUS products with powerful performance, outstanding durability and AI integration will be a reliable companion for students in studying and researching".

In 2025, CMC University (school code: CMC) announced a program to give laptops to new students enrolling for candidates who register their first, second, and third choices to the school. Candidates enrolling at CMC University will receive laptops if they meet the following criteria:

Candidates have a total score of 31/40 points in the 1st semester of high school, grade 12, or the entire 12th grade according to the subject combination registered for admission in 2025 or take the 2025 Competency Assessment Test of CMC University (CMC-TEST).

Candidates choose CMC as their first, second, or third choice on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The school representative said that the program of giving laptops to new students will actively contribute to the school's AI transformation strategy. This strategy demonstrates the school's commitment to applying technology and artificial intelligence in management, operations, teaching, learning, research, and student experience.
