Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Ms. Vu Viet Trang, Party Secretary, General Director of VNA, President of the VNA Journalists Association, said that on September 15, 1945, from Bach Mai Radio Station, Vietnam News Agency (now VNA) broadcast to the world the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in three languages: Vietnamese, English, and French. Since then, September 15 has become the traditional day of the national news agency./.
