VNA continues to affirm its role as a strategic and reliable information agency.

On the morning of September 14, at the National News Center, VNA solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Ho Chi Minh Medal (for the third time) and celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam News Agency's traditional day (September 15, 1945 - September 15, 2025).

General Secretary To Lam attended and delivered a speech at the ceremony. President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man , and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien sent flower baskets and congratulatory letters on the 80th anniversary of VNA's traditional day.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Ms. Vu Viet Trang, Party Secretary, General Director of VNA, President of the VNA Journalists Association, said that on September 15, 1945, from Bach Mai Radio Station, Vietnam News Agency (now VNA) broadcast to the world the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in three languages: Vietnamese, English, and French. Since then, September 15 has become the traditional day of the national news agency./.
