(PLVN) - The Tax Department announced the temporary suspension of electronic tax systems such as: eTax, eTax Mobile, iCanhan... to upgrade and meet the requirements of arranging tax agencies according to the two-level local government model.

The Tax Department has just issued an urgent notice on the temporary suspension of electronic tax systems to upgrade the information technology system, meeting the requirements of arranging tax agencies according to the two-level local government model and a number of tax regulations effective from July 1.

Specifically, from 6:00 p.m. today - June 27 to 8:00 a.m. on July 1, the Tax Department will temporarily suspend a number of electronic tax systems to serve upgrading and conversion.

The systems that will be temporarily suspended include: Tax Department's electronic information page; THI application (tax procedure practice management); information portals for business households/individuals, e-commerce platforms; eTax, iCanhan, eTax Mobile systems; information portals serving information exchange with external units and organizations (DataHub/GIP/T2B).

The electronic invoice application for taxpayers will only be suspended from 0:00 to 3:00 on July 1.

Of these, only the electronic portal for foreign suppliers is still operating normally.

For the internal management system of the Tax sector, including the electronic invoice subsystem for tax officers, only lookup functions will be allowed to be used for data handover, not for business processing during the upgrade period.

The tax department said that during the system suspension, the tax authority will continue to receive and process tax administrative procedures directly at the one-stop shop and via post. However, the processing and return of results may be delayed.
