From March 24, summer tourists can buy train tickets on the Northern route.

The railway opened ticket sales for the North-South route from March 24 with many attractive discount policies, serving passengers traveling during the summer.

The Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that from today (March 24), the railway will open ticket sales for the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route during the summer of 2025 for trains running from May 15 to August 15, 2025.

During the summer, the railway applies many ticket discount policies. Accordingly, passengers who buy round-trip train tickets will receive a 5% discount on the return ticket price at the same time.

Passengers buying group tickets of 20 people or more, when buying 1-19 days in advance, will receive a discount of 3% to 7% on the ticket price; when buying 20 days in advance, will receive a discount of 5% to 9% on the ticket price, depending on the group size.

Passengers who purchase individual tickets 20-39 days before departure will receive a 5% discount; those who purchase tickets 40 days or more before departure will receive a 10% discount.

However, the number of tickets is limited on each train; not applicable for 4-berth cabins on trains SE3, SNT1/SNT2, SPT1/SPT2.

The Railway Transport Joint Stock Company also noted that for passengers who buy tickets close to the departure date (2 days or less before the departure date), ticket prices will increase from 5% to 7%.
