The Spring Flower Market "On the Wharf, Under the Boat" Ben Binh Dong is one of 19 typical annual cultural, artistic and festival events in Ho Chi Minh City. The Spring Flower Market is a unique cultural space and a special tourist destination of District 8 and the city during the traditional Tet holiday.

The market has 654 business locations, of which 50 are selling fruits, vegetables, tubers and 604 are selling flowers and ornamental plants with a variety of varieties, serving the shopping needs of the New Year.

In particular, at this year's spring flower market, the main stage floating on Tau Hu canal has an additional miniature landscape area and a large LED screen to help people enjoy the art performances more easily. The stage will continuously perform performances of many genres, such as: music, drama, traditional opera, comedy, reformed theater, amateur music... The art performances will take place every night from today until the end of the spring flower market on the evening of February 9 (December 30).

During the opening ceremony, the Bong Sen Folk Song and Dance Theatre performed a colorful and attractive art program, performing music and dance pieces: Festival Drums - Echoes of Spring, A Circle of Vietnam, Does the Sun Still Spring, Shining Spring Happiness, Spring Moon Scene, Ao Dai Show... with the participation of Meritorious Artist Le Hong Tham, Artist Vo Minh Lam, singers Ngoc Mai, Ho Trung Dung, Duyen Quynh, Thuy Trinh, Phan Ngoc Luan, artists of the Bong Sen Folk Song and Dance Theatre, Phuong Viet dance group, Sen Viet, martial arts group...
