Tuyen Quang: Creating a space for tea enjoyment and promoting typical products of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas of Tan Trao

On the occasion of important holidays in August of Tuyen Quang province, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion of the province will organize many activities to promote typical products, connect markets, and at the same time honor the traditional culture of the locality.

The Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion of Tuyen Quang province said that on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the National Congress of Tan Trao (August 16, 1945 - August 16, 2025), the inauguration of the "Uncle Ho in Tan Trao" Monument and the 20th Anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), the Center coordinated with relevant units to organize a space for tea drinking and display of typical products at the Tan Trao National Special Relic Site, Tan Trao commune (Tuyen Quang province) to promote typical products and at the same time honor the traditional culture of the locality.

The event is not only an opportunity to introduce high-quality agricultural products, but also an opportunity to promote the image, people and culture of ethnic minorities in Tuyen Quang province to friends and tourists at home and abroad. Thereby, the activity contributes to promoting the consumption of typical products, developing the economy of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas associated with preserving traditional cultural values.

The Center has coordinated with relevant units to prepare products and organize the display of 3-5 star OCOP products, meeting organic standards, ensuring quantity and quality with QR codes to trace their origins for display and introduction; including many products produced by ethnic minority women, local specialty products produced and supplied by cooperatives and women's cooperatives.

The Center also cooperated with Phin Ho Tea Processing Cooperative and Tay Con Linh Cooperative to organize a Tea-Enjoying Space: Invite artisans, arrange staff to serve tea in local ethnic minority costumes, assign service staff, prepare tea-making utensils (plates, ceramic cups...) to ensure uniformity and imbue with the identity of Tuyen Quang province.

The highlight of this tea-drinking space is the delicate design and decoration, imbued with the cultural identity of Tuyen Quang. The rustic wooden and bamboo tables and chairs combined with the product display platform and the panels introducing the revolutionary land of ATK Tan Trao have created a harmonious and intimate space.
